Opportunity Description: Patient/Family Support Volunteers assist the hospice care team by providing direct support to patients and families through regular visits in patient’s home, facilities, or hospitals. Training is provided in spring and fall. Time commitment is flexible.

Opportunity Description: Bereavement volunteers work with staff to provide support to surviving family and significant others of Delaware Hospice patients. Bereavement volunteers may make phone calls to family members, assist with bereavement mailings, or assist with support groups and special programs, such as our yearly camp for children who have lost loved ones. Training is provided in spring and fall. Time commitment is flexible.

Delaware Hospice has been in existence for over 25 years and has provides services throughout the state of Delaware and parts of Pennsylvania.
